Los lectores aprenderán a configurar routers con RIP activado.

 En el ejemplo siguiente se describe cómo configurar una red en RIP con tres routers. 

Configuración de R1

  • Configurar la dirección IP.
ubnt@R1#set interfaces ethernet eth1 address
  • Configurar RIP.
ubnt@R1#set protocols rip interface eth1

Configuración de R2

  • Configurar la dirección IP.
ubnt@R2#set interfaces ethernet eth1 address interfaces ethernet eth2 address
  • Configurar RIP.
ubnt@R2#set protocols rip interface eth1ubnt@R2#set protocols rip interface eth2

Configuración de R3

  • Configurar la dirección IP.
set interfaces ethernet eth0 address
  • Configurar RIP.
set protocols rip interface eth0

Una vez configurado esto, R1 aprende que se puede llegar por
