The sunMAX Solar Gateway (SM-SG) allows monitoring of the sunMAX system via the cloud. If problems with the Solar Gateway occur, the user can download a support file and send it to the sunMAX support team (firstname.lastname@example.org) to troubleshoot the issue. The following article will guide you through the steps to access the SM-SG Web UI and download the sunMAX Gateway support file.

Step 1 - Download the Ubiquiti Device Discovery Tool
Download the Ubiquiti Device Discovery Tool.
Step 2 - Open the Web User Interface
Click on Host IP Address for sunMAX Gateway to open the Web UI.
Note: If your sunMAX Solar Gateway does not respond, it can be reset to factory defaults by holding down the reset button for 10 seconds. See sunMAX Solar Gateway Quick Start Guide for more information.
Step 3 - Log in
Log in with your Solar Gateway credentials:
Default Username: ubnt
Default Password: ubnt
Note: it is highly recommended that you reset your Administrator Username and/or Password after logging in with default credentials. Make these changes under the Configuration Tab.
Step 4 - Enter the Configuration Tab
Click on the Configuration tab.
Step 5 - Download the Support File
Click on Support Info to download the support file, and forward this file to email@example.com. Please include your contact information, site address, as well as a description of the problem.
