Readers will learn how to enable Passive PoE on the interfaces of an ES-XP.

How to enable the PoE Output

GUI: Access the Graphical User Interface (GUI).

1. Navigate to the Ports tab.

2. Select the port that needs to be configured for PoE output.

3. Choose between the following PoE settings (depending on the ES-XP model):

• OffNo PoE output
• 24VPassive PoE output using 24V
• 48VPassive PoE output using 48V

WARNING: Make sure that a compatible PoE device is plugged into the port before enabling the Passive PoE output.

4. Apply the changes by clicking on the Save Changes button.
