EdgeRouter - Destination NAT rules

Overview


Readers will learn how to set up destination NAT rules via CLI.

 

The following settings are required for minimal configuration of a Destination NAT Rule:

  • Rule number
  • Inbound interface
  • Translation address and/or port
  • Destination NAT type: destination

Here is a configuration of a Destination NAT rule:

ubnt@ubnt# show service
nat {
       rule 20 {
        inbound-interface eth2
        inside-address {
            address 192.168.1.11
        }
        type destination
    }
}

The following are options:

  • Source address or network
  • Source port
Note: If you designate a port, then you must also designate the protocol: udptcp, or udp_tcp.
  • Destination address or network
  • Destination port

  • Protocol
  • Exclude
  • Description
  • Logging
  • Disable
