EdgeRouter - Detailed configuration for device discovery

Overview


Readers will learn how to enable, disable and run discovery on specific interfaces of the router. 

By default Device Discovery is enabled.

 

Steps


To disable discovery globally, use the following commands:

configure
set service ubnt-discover disable 
commit

To enable discovery on a specific interface, use the following commands: 

configure
set service ubnt-discover interface <interface_name> disable 
commit

To run a query for discovery tool via CLI, enter the following command while in operating mode: 

ubnt@ubnt:~$ show ubnt discover
