This article describes where to find device support files and logs, both in your devices and within UNMS. These files will be essential for any sort of problem-solving or troubleshooting.

In this article, we will show you where to find logs both for UNMS and your devices. The data in those logs will be critical for solving most of the issues that may arise.
The UNMS server logs are stored in
on the UNMS server. These logs includes information about runtime problems or devices connections. The UNMS update log can be found in:
on the UNMS server. This log is important when you have a problem with UNMS update.You can also download logs directly from the Web UI in Settings > Maintenance > Download Support Info
Where to Find the Support File on a Device UI

Log into the device and click System > Support info: Download.
Log into the device and click System > Download Support info.
Log into the device and click the small blue lifebuoy icon.
Currently it is not possible to download Support file from UI of EdgeSwitch. We are planning to add this feature in the future.
Different devices store logs differently. The first option is to download the support file which will include the logs via the device UI, or by accessing your device via SSH and then:
EdgeRouter and uFiber OLT

AirMax M and AirMax AC
1. Device service Syslog has to be allowed.

You can download support info via UI. It's a small blue lifebuoy icon. UNMS logs are included in FW 1.1.0+ (syslog).
